The Argentine national team qualified for the semi-finals of the Junior World Cup (for under 17 years), currently being held in Indonesia, after its great victory over its Brazilian counterpart, 3-0, in the quarter-finals.
The Argentine national team will meet in the semi-finals with its German counterpart, which qualified for the same round after beating Spain 1-0, earlier today, Friday.
The Argentine national team owes credit for the victory to its star, Claudio Echeverri, who scored the three goals in the 28th, 58th and 71st minutes.
