The Director General of the Cotton Directorate, Mr. Abdul Latif Muhammad Al-Naqeeb, reviewed this morning, Sunday, November 27, the mechanism for disbursing the dues of the unconditional cash transfers project for the beneficiaries of the Social Welfare Fund in the Cotton Directorate.
During his meeting with the Director of the Social Welfare Fund, the project facilitation officer, Brother Rabie Ali bin Shrisher, they discussed the project’s workflow mechanism and the inauguration of the 14th disbursement cycle for the unconditional cash transfers project, which includes the disbursement of cash assistance to the beneficiaries of the Social Welfare Fund, provided by the World Bank, which is scheduled The disbursement at the fixed sites shall begin on the fifth of next December, while the home voucher exchange shall start on the second of December for the disabled and disabled.
The amount of the increase related to the Covid 19 Corona virus, which was spent in previous sessions, will also be deducted by 50%.
During the meeting, which was attended by Mahmoud Al-Hadar, supervisor of monitoring and evaluation of More Yemen Company, they listened to a detailed explanation of the progress of the inauguration process of the emergency cash transfer project in partnership with UNICEF, which targets 4,620 cases in all regions, villages and rural areas of the directorate.
They indicated that arrangements and preparations for the exchange process were made in four locations, including a site designated for Wadi Sir areas, to avoid the overcrowding process, which is scheduled to last 26 days.
The Director-General emphasized the delivery of aid to the beneficiaries in their own hands or an official authorization from the beneficiary himself, and keenness to choose suitable sites for women beneficiaries.
The Director General praised the efforts of the work team and the Office of the Social Welfare Fund in facilitating the tasks of disbursing citizens' dues from social security, stressing the keenness of the local authority leadership to overcome all difficulties in front of the beneficiaries to facilitate their access to their assistance with ease.
The meeting was attended by: Salim Ahmed Al-Hamad, a specialist in the Social Welfare Fund, Warda Bin Sahaq, assistant facilitation officer, and the social and educational personality, Faisal Mohsen Al-Jahuri.
