The Governor of Hadramout, Professor Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, praised the self- and community-based voluntary initiatives with the aim of contributing to community service.
The governor saluted the efforts of the governorate's active youth in serving their community, through charitable initiatives and service projects that benefit citizens.
The governor appreciated the initiative of the Ambassadors of Happiness and the Rouh Health Foundation, in digging an artesian well in the “Larmy” area of the Mukalla Countryside Directorate, with community contributions from benefactors.
In a telephone conversation today with the young founder of the Ambassadors of Happiness initiative, Muhammad Ahmed Bahbara, the governor expressed the appreciation of the local authority and society for the youth initiatives that target the community and support the efforts of the local authority in water and service projects.
The “Larmy” area is 5 km away from the old Fuwa, and the depth of the artesian well is
108 meters, the area was extended with a water network to cover the Valley of the Mohammedans, and was provided with solar energy.
The cost of the project exceeds 130,000 Saudi riyals, funded by philanthropists.
