The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, mourned the educational, sports and social figure, Mr. Jaafar Abu Bakr Boonmi, who passed away today, Saturday, as a result of a terminal illness, after which he was transferred to intensive care.
The governor expressed his sadness at the loss of one of the governorate’s cadres in the field of education, youth and sports, who was known for his morals, sincerity, humility, and his efficient and competent performance of his duties.
Mr. Jaafar Boonmi served as the leadership of the Education Department in the Mukalla Directorate, and the presidency of the Football Association branch in the coast of Hadhramaut, and accompanied sports missions abroad, most notably his presidency of the delegation of the Hadhramout People’s Club for the Arab Championship in Riyadh in 2001 AD, and he performed his duties honestly and had friendly relations with everyone, which made him appreciated and respect.
The Governor extended his sincerest condolences and great sympathy to the children and family of the deceased, asking the Almighty to include him with mercy and forgiveness, dwell in the vastness of heaven, and inspire his family and children patience and solace.
