Today, the Governor of Hadramout Mabkhout, Mubarak bin Madi, honored the medical advisory team from the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the voluntary medical camp for orthopedic surgery and joint replacement, which is held by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, at the Ibn Sina Hospital Authority in Mukalla, under the auspices of the Minister of Public Health and Population and the Governor of Hadramout. .
The governor of Hadramout praised the efforts of the Saudi medical team in implementing the camp, which succeeded in providing medical services and therapeutic interventions to patients from all over the country in an important specialty, and contributed to relieving citizens of the hardship of traveling abroad.
The governor thanked the interventions of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, in various sectors, including the health sector, which touches the segment of patients most in need in light of the current war conditions.
The governor also praised the efforts of the local medical staff contributing to this successful camp.
The camp, which was inaugurated by the Governor of Hadramout Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, on Sunday, November 20 and will continue until the 26 of this November, witnessed a great turnout of patients from Hadramout and the neighboring governorates, in which operations were performed to replace the knee joints, full and half hip, bone biopsy, and arthroscopic knee reconstructive surgery. And the manufacture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee, the removal of the ruptured meniscus endoscopically, and the operations of separating tendons and fractures, under the supervision of a medical advisory team from the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The honoring was attended by the deputy governor, Hassan Al-Jilani, and the head of the Ibn Sina Hospital Authority, Dr. Khaled Shaiban.
