Al-Nasr escaped an imminent loss against its guest, Al-Hilal, the defending champion, and tied with it with difficulty 2/2 today, Monday, in the tenth stage of the Saudi Football League.
And at Marsoul Park Stadium, Al-Nasr snatched an exciting draw from its guest Al-Hilal with two goals for the same, to maintain its position in the lead.
Nigerian Odion Ighalo opened the scoring for Al Hilal in the tenth minute, after Luciano Vietto penetrated the ball into the penalty area and passed to Ighalo in front of the goal, so the latter fired effortlessly into the net.
And Brazilian Anderson Talisca was able to equalize for victory in the 56th minute, after he received a pass from Vincent Abu Bakr and made his way into the Al Hilal penalty area before hitting a powerful ball into the net.
Al-Hilal got a penalty kick after Sultan Al-Ghanam committed a foul against Nasser Al-Dosari, so Al-Dosari scored the second goal in the 65th minute.
Two minutes before the end, Abd al-Rahman Gharib snatched the deadly equalizing goal for victory after a corner kick that Abdullah Al-Mayouf, Al-Hilal goalkeeper, pushed away towards the penalty area line, to reach Gharib, who hit the ball directly into the net.
Al-Nasr raised its tally to 23 points in the lead, two points behind Al-Hilal, who finished in fourth place.
