The Yemeni researcher, Abd al-Rahman Mahmoud al-Mashra’i, Director General of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Hodeidah Governorate, who was delegated from Hodeidah University, obtained a Ph.
The researcher discussed his doctoral dissertation in the College of Graduate Studies / College of Education, Department of Educational Administration and Planning, Omdurman Islamic University, Republic of Sudan.
The research study aims at diagnosing the reality of administrative performance, revealing obstacles that limit administrative performance in technical education institutions, and proposing methods for its development.
The research study, which is considered the first to use the balanced scorecard in the field of technical education and vocational training, focused on Yemen.
The Discussion and Judgment Committee recommended that the thesis be published, printed, and circulated among universities, colleges, and relevant research centers. It was chaired by Prof. Essam El-Din Barbar Adam (chief supervisor), and the membership of Prof. Al-Tayeb Abdel-Wahhab Mohamed (co-supervisor), and Dr. Muhammad Othman Muhammad Ahmed (discusser).
This thesis is considered an extension of the work of the previous researcher. He prepared a master's thesis in the management of technical education and obtained it from the University of Hodeidah with distinction, with a recommendation for printing. He also has a scientific research published in the Arab Journal of Science and published research entitled A proposed vision for developing the performance of administrative leaders in community colleges and institutes of technical and vocational education in the governorate Hodeidah in the light of contemporary challenges.
He is considered the only researcher in the field of technical education management. He has a master's and doctorate and published research in addition to his work in the Ministry of Technical Education in the Republic of Yemen.
