The French national team qualified for the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 by defeating the England national team with two goals to one in the match that brought them together at Al Bayt Stadium in the quarter-finals.
The first half ended with France advancing with a clean goal scored by Aurelien Chouamini in the 17th minute.
In the second half, the English equalized with a goal scored by Harry Kane from a penalty kick in the 54th minute.
In the 78th minute, Jirou scored the second goal for France, and Haren Kane missed another penalty kick for the English in the last minutes of the second half, so the match ended with France winning 2-1, and the French team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
