Barcelona booked its seat in the Spanish Super Final, after beating Real Betis on penalties (4-2), in the semi-final match hosted by King Fahd International Stadium, and its original and extra time ended in a positive draw (2-2).
The Catalan club was able to decide the first half in its favor, with a goal scored by Polish striker Robert Lewandowski in the 40th minute.
Real Betis came back in the score during the second half, after their player, Nabil Faqir, managed to adjust the cuff in the 77th minute, so that the original time of the match ended with positive parity.
Barcelona regained its balance at the start of the first extra half, after Ansu Fati hit the net with a powerful shot in the 93rd minute, but Real Betis equalized the score again by his player, Lauren moron, in the 101st minute.
The Catalan club won the penalty shootout with a score of (4-2), thus qualifying to face Real Madrid, in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
