The governor of Hadramout, Mabkhout, Mubarak bin Madi, praised the voluntary activity of the governorate's youth, and their efforts in serving the pilgrims of God's house, during the "Corona" crisis, and contributing to projects that serve the community.
The governor confirmed during his meeting today in Mukalla, the head and members of the leadership of the Union of Voluntary Youth Forums in Wadi Hadramout, that the local authority and society value the contribution of youth forums in the province in implementing voluntary campaigns in various stages and circumstances.
The governor listened from the head of the Forums Union, Ali bin Saad, Public Security Muhammad Al-Mansouri, and the leadership of the Union, to the number of activities and campaigns implemented by the 185 forums at the valley level, which includes more than 13 thousand volunteers, including the aspect of training and rehabilitation, and campaigns to serve pilgrims at the Al-Wadiah port. Reconciliation, honoring the most prominent volunteer initiatives, carrying out advocacy activities for prisoners, participating in international competitions for volunteering, preparing for two awareness workshops for women and men to enhance awareness of volunteering among the community, and holding various activities on the occasion of International Volunteer Day. The governor praised these efforts, calling for the importance of unifying the activity of volunteer forums at the governorate level.
