The activities of the medical camp for ophthalmology, implemented by Haya Al-Yahya Ophthalmology Hospital in partnership with Al-Juhi Hospital, were concluded at Al-Juhi Hospital in the Doaan District, funded by the Silah Foundation for Development, the Doaan branch, under the generous patronage of the Director General of the Doaan Directorate and under the supervision of the Health and Population Office in the district, which lasted for a whole week.
During the conclusion, the Director General of the Directorate of Doan, Mr. Salem Bankher, Director of the Health and Population Office in the Directorate, Dr. Muhammad Al-Amoudi and their escorts visited the departments of medical clinics and surgical operations to see the reception of cases, treat them and provide them with free medical services, expressing their thanks and appreciation to the medical staff, their assistants and the hospital management for their efforts in Patient service that contributed to the success of the camp activities.
The camp targeted to examine all the registered cases, which amounted to more than 900 cases from the various regions of the Doan district, of whom 139 cases were undergoing cataract operations, as well as 136 cases where operations were performed with the phaco device, 3 cases of surgeries.
It is worth mentioning that the medical camp for ophthalmology provided medical and treatment services to all patients free of charge at a rate of 100%, within the framework of the effective partnership between the office of the Ministry of Health and Population in Hadramout Al-Sahel and civil society organizations, as it would serve patients in the governorate.
