Today, the Governor of Hadramout, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, was briefed on the Mukalla creek and its needs for rehabilitation and development, as it is the most important tourist landmark in the middle of the city of Mukalla and embraces the waters of its beautiful sea.
The governor, accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Baghemian, who specializes in surveying engineering, inspected the conditions of the creek, its lighting, and the locations of the need for intervention.
The governor emphasized the interest of the local authority in tourist sites, most notably Khor al-Mukalla, and intervention to improve and rehabilitate it to preserve it, and to give an aesthetic look to the capital of the province.
The governor directed the relevant authorities to take care of the creek, clean it, improve services there, and maintain the damaged sites.
