The activities of the free medical camp for ophthalmology began in the regions of Mukalla, Gail Bawazir, Hadramout Governorate, implemented by the Good Hands Foundation for Development, funded by the Kuwaiti Al-Awn Al-Najat Charity Association, under the supervision of the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Hadramout Al-Sahel, under the slogan,, For eyes that see life,,.
Where the cases began to be received at the Roya Clinic in Mukalla and the Gail Bawazir Hospital to examine the patients registered in the camp and conduct medical examinations for them to diagnose their conditions by the specialized medical team, and perform operations for them in the field of cataract removal as well as implanting lenses with the phaco technique. This camp is an extension of the previous camps that are implemented by the Foundation Ayadi Al-Hir for Development, in partnership with the Vision Clinic for Ophthalmology and Retina Surgery, with Kuwaiti funding, in a number of targeted areas.
It is worth mentioning that these free eye medical camps contribute to alleviating the suffering of patients who need therapeutic services in these targeted areas in the field of eye diseases, which are implemented by a medical staff specialized in eye and retinal diseases surgery, with advanced modern equipment and a highly qualified medical staff.
