Paris Saint-Germain booked the second qualification ticket for the Champions League round of 16 in Group F, by drawing with host Borussia Dortmund 1-1 on Wednesday in the final sixth round.
Dortmund was guaranteed to qualify for the last 16 before facing Saint-Germain in the final round.
Dortmund took advantage of the confusion in Paris Saint-Germain's defense in the 53rd minute to score the lead goal through Karim Adeyemi.
Zaire Emery equalized the score three minutes later.
Paris Saint-Germain took advantage of Milan's 2-1 victory over its host Newcastle United in the same group, to qualify, along with Dortmund, for the next round.
Paris Saint-Germain has 8 points in second place thanks to the direct confrontations rule against Milan, which has the same number of points, making the latter qualify for the Europa League, while Dortmund took the lead with 11 points, and Newcastle finished in last place with five points.
