Therefore, the Hadhramout Club team deservedly won the Revitalization Football Championship Cup, organized by the Hadhramout Valley Football Association branch, under the supervision of the Hadhramout Valley and Desert Ministry of Youth and Sports Office and the patronage of the Hadhramout Valley and Desert Directorate Affairs Deputy Governor, Mr. Amer Saeed Al-Amri. Thirteen clubs participated, playing in a knockout format after the two-legged matches. The first match of the tournament kicked off on Friday afternoon, July 11, 2025.
First Half
From the start of the referee's whistle, Al-Ittihad launched an intense attack, playing on Al-Wahda's pitch. They achieved what they wanted. They scored their first goal in the second minute through Abdullah Al-Jaberi, who broke the offside barrier after Al-Wahda's defense failed to retreat. The ball was played from the Al-Ittihad wing on the left side of Al-Wahda's goal. Al-Wahda's players regained their composure and managed to reach Al-Ittihad's goal and control the midfield. However, the Al-Wahda attackers' lack of focus and random shooting, coupled with the brilliance of the Al-Ittihad goalkeeper, prevented them from scoring the equalizer. Al-Ittihad relied on counterattacks, slow ball transfers, and shots from outside the penalty area, which posed a threat to Al-Wahda's goal. The vigilance of the Al-Wahda goalkeeper prevented any further goals from being added in the first half, which ended with Al-Ittihad leading by one goal.
Second Half
Al-Wahda players continued their attacks on the flanks and in the defensive depth, but the Al-Ittihad defense's bravery in clearing the ball kept their goal clean. During the final quarter of an hour, Al-Ittihad regained its momentum through continuous attacks on the left wing and direct shots at goal. In the final minutes of the match, Al-Ittihad almost doubled the score with a second goal, but the crossbar blocked the Al-Ittihad striker's shot. The second half ended goalless, and the match ended with Al-Ittihad winning by one goal. Al-Ittihad was crowned champion and Al-Wahda was runner-up.
