Preliminary statistics: Three martyrs killed and three wounded, some critically, as a result of Saudi-backed forces firing live ammunition at demonstrators participating in a peaceful demonstration by the Southern Transitional Council in the city of Mukalla.

Sources reported that the number of martyrs in Al-Mukalla has risen to three young men, as a result of gunfire during a peaceful demonstration held in the city on Saturday evening.

Activist Bin Badr explained that the incident also resulted in a number of injuries, some of them critical, due to the use of live ammunition against the demonstrators participating in the event.

According to reports, the escalation on the ground coincided with a large-scale military and security deployment in the city, with strict measures imposed at the entrances and on the streets of Al-Mukalla in an attempt to prevent the mass gathering.

This development comes amidst widespread public anger and growing calls to stop the use of force and respect the citizens' right to peaceful protest.
