For her part, Dr. Fawzia Gharama, Director of UNICEF in Hadramout, praised the efforts made by the warehouse workers as well as the engineering team for their role in facilitating the task of this qualitative project to install solar energy for drug stores in order to preserve all types of medicines and vaccines inside these stores, calling for the need to pay attention to and preserve this project To last for many years.


In turn, Eng. Abdullah Al-Matari, Director of the Energy Sector at Universal Yemen for Logistics and Construction Support, stated that the solar system project has been implemented with components of international quality and specifications, which will contribute to high efficiency by enhancing and providing electricity to refrigerators for medicines and vaccines and preserving them from damage during times of power outages from the main network. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the office of the Ministry of Health and Population in the governorate for their efforts in overcoming all difficulties for the success of the project’s stages of work, as well as thanks to the support body UNICEF for their interest in such projects that contribute to the service of health facilities.


The inauguration was attended by: Mr. Fouad Ali Bamatrif, Director of the Primary Health Care Department, Director of the Immunization Program, Mr. Omar Bajbar, Director of the Organizations Department, Coordinator of the World Bank in the governorate, Engineer Shaker Al-Saadi, Director of Technical Affairs, and a number of drug store workers in the office of the Ministry of Health and Population in Hadramout Al-Sahel.
