Oil prices rose in early trading on Monday to their highest levels since January due to supply concerns.
Brent crude futures rose $1.92, or 2.49 percent, to $78.93 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose $1.89, or 2.56 percent, to $75.73, according to Reuters data.
Both crudes jumped more than 3 percent earlier in the session to five-month highs of $81.40 and $78.40 a barrel, respectively, before paring some gains.
