On Monday, November 7, 2022, Yemen, represented by the creator and plastic artist, Mr. Khaled Brik, participated in the opening of the activities of the fourth session of the cultural wreath organized by the “Rabat Al-Fath” association in the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco
The great cultural event was organized under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him and support him, and took “Morocco in its Continent” as its slogan. This prominent cultural event celebrates the African dimension in Moroccan identity, coinciding with the selection of Rabat as the capital of African culture and with the commemoration of the march Green 47 triumphant in the restoration of the Moroccan Sahara.
During the ceremony, the plastic exhibition of the brilliant Yemeni artist, Mr. Khaled Brik, was inaugurated at the National Library in Rabat. The Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mr. Muhammad Al-Mahdi Bensaid, and Mr. Abdel Karim Bennani, President of the Ribat Al-Fath Rabat Association, and the presence of some diplomatic figures accredited by the royal court, attended the ceremony. And a large presence of Yemeni diplomacy represented by His Excellency the Cultural Counselor, Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Silwi, the former Consul, Mr. Ali Al-Sharif, and members of the diplomatic mission at the Yemeni Embassy, in addition to a group of artists and those interested in cultural affairs.
The opening witnessed the display of a group of expressive paintings by the artist Brik, which reflected the depth of the culture and historical heritage of the Kingdom, which meets with the heritage and Yemeni culture in many intersections and extensions such as architectural construction, costume and ornaments. These decorative paintings won the admiration of the attendees.
It is worth noting that the plastic artist Khaled Bin Brik has a bright presence in the fine art scene and has participated in many art exhibitions in the cities of the Kingdom. Yemen represented the best representation in these art and cultural forums and exhibitions.
