This morning, in Mukalla, a meeting was held for the companies participating in the Hadhramout Careers Fair for the Alumni Club at the Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development, to find out the preparations for the exhibition in its second edition, scheduled to be held next week.
In the meeting, the Director of the Scholarship Department at the Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development, Mr. Zaki Muqais, gave a brief overview of the institution, referring to the main objective of establishing the Alumni Club, noting the role of the exhibition as a social responsibility for all, in guiding graduates from universities, institutes, and professionals and craftsmen to engage in the labor market according to need.
The director of the Alumni Club, Eng. Saeed Barian, welcomed the attendees, stressing the club’s interest in bridging the gap between graduates and the labor market, through training and qualification programs, and directing graduates to choose the appropriate specializations according to local needs.
Director of Programs and Projects at the Alumni Club, Eng. Abdullah Shamakh, in turn, indicated that there are more than 150 vacancies, presenting company representatives with the work plan of the job fair.
The project coordinator at the club, Abdul Qader Al-Zubaidi, gave a full explanation of the work system of the electronic platform, which includes nearly 2,000 registered graduates. The platform acts as a link between employers, university and institute graduates and the unemployed.
Representatives of the participating companies put forward a number of inquiries and suggestions to ensure the achievement of the desired goal of holding the exhibition.
The meeting was attended by the club's internal project coordinator, Nahid Al-Bahsani, and representatives of a number of companies and entities participating in the exhibition.
