The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, met today in Mukalla, the team for preparing the general budget for the Hadhramaut Governorate "coast and valley" for the year 2023 AD.
The governor heard from the head of the committee, Dr. Ahmed Salem Basreh, the governorate’s deputy for financial and administrative affairs, on the steps and procedures followed in preparing the budget and the commitment to the indicators and ceilings regulating the budget preparation process.
The governor commended the efforts of the chairman and members of the committee in preparing the general budget for the governorate and the need to deliver it on time.
The governor directed the committee to work on merging the coastal and valley budgets into one budget for the governorate, stressing the importance of well-thought-out work, reinforced by numbers and clear plans to facilitate the work of the local authority and to proceed according to clear programs and plans that include priority needs.
