The Executive Office of Hadhramaut Governorate held its second regular meeting for the year 2022 AD, today in Mukalla, headed by the Governor of Hadhramaut, the head of the office, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, and in the presence of the Secretary-General Saleh Aboud Al-Amqi, the First Undersecretary of Hadhramaut, Sheikh Amr Ali bin Habrish, and the governorate’s agents.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Governor of Hadhramaut, the head of the Executive Office, conveyed the greetings of the Presidential Leadership Council headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, and the government headed by Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik.
The governor reiterated his call to the people of the province to renounce differences that lead to division, and to unify the word, stressing the province’s pride in its people of all segments, calling for a meeting of opinion and word, and to stop meetings and meetings that widen the gap and division, and stressed the interest of the local authority in addressing the concerns and requirements of administrative offices, and holding those who violate the system accountable. And public money according to the evidence and evidence from the competent authorities.
The governor called on the government to secure Hadramawt’s ports and outlets, stressing the governorate’s condemnation of the threat being woven and implemented to the country’s economic tributary, “Al-Daba and Mukalla ports” via drones, in a position that denies Hadhramaut’s bids that have been exporting oil and goodness to the whole country for 32 years since the beginning of the unit, including 25 A year during which Sanaa received oil revenues, and Hadhramaut was unfair during those years, but Hadramawt today receives the penalty in their own way through the air strikes from Sanaa without condemnation from its various components, and in a position that denies its bids, calls for unity and word, and requires the government to secure the governorate and release its dues From the oil share of the Central Bank, which is the percentage allocated to development, as well as the fulfillment of its obligations in the field of basic services, the most important of which are electricity, budgets of administrative units, annual bonuses, and employee settlements.
The governor affirmed the local authority’s demand that a battalion of the Hadrami Elite Brigades take over security matters at the Al-Wadi’a port, and refused to continue working with two gates at the port, and to rely on one gate to secure the employees, in a way that benefits the state’s revenues and for the benefit of the state.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Executive Office reviewed its previous minutes, and discussed a report on the local and joint resources of the offices and directorates of the Hadhramaut coast for the period from January to August 2022 AD, which showed the total actual sum of the local and joint resources of the offices and directorates of the Hadhramaut coast "one billion and 659 million and 286 thousand and 247 riyals", an increase of 13% over the same period last year.
The office also discussed a report on the zakat yields for the period from January to August 2022 AD, which amounted to “464 million and 304 thousand and 269 riyals.”
At the meeting, it was approved the formation of committees to study increasing revenue collection, demarcating vehicles and motorcycles, and scheduling urgent issues to be raised on the Cabinet table at its upcoming meeting in Mukalla.
