US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen discussed, on the sidelines of the Group of Twenty (G20) summit held on the Indonesian island of Bali, with Governor of the People's Bank of China Yi Gang, global economic developments, including rising energy and commodity prices.
"The two sides exchanged views on the macroeconomic future in the United States and China," the US Treasury Department said in a press release.
"Secretary Janet Yellen looks forward to working with the Chinese side in the future," the statement added.
