The governor of Hadramout, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, met today with the head of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, Judge Afrah Saleh badwilan, in Mukalla.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of strengthening the integration and partnership relationship between the local authority in the governorate and the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority to strengthen the regulatory aspects of protecting public money and public function in accordance with the law, and discussed steps to activate and enhance the performance of regulatory agencies.
The governor of Hadramout stressed the keenness of the local authority to establish the principle of integrity and financial and administrative transparency to ensure the rational management of public funds and property, the optimal use of resources and strengthening the supervisory role of the bodies concerned with the protection of public funds and property.
The governor pointed out that the fight against corruption and the preservation of public money are the top priorities of the local authority's program and is ready to cooperate with the leadership of the authority to strengthen the control aspects that flow into the work plan of the local authority in the governorate.
The head of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission stressed that this communication between the commission and the local authority in Hadramout is of great importance at this stage that the country is going through to strengthen the comprehensive control aspects, activate the supervisory bodies concerned with combating corruption and modernize the mechanisms and means of combating it, praising the cooperation of the governor of Hadramout and his support for the efforts of the commission and his keenness to activate the aspects of control over public money within his work priorities.
