The Oman national team managed to achieve a difficult victory over its Saudi counterpart by two goals to one, within the framework of the Gulf Cup competitions (Khaliji 25).
The match was held at Al Mina Stadium as part of the third round of the group stage at Zain 25 Gulf .
Oman opened the scoring through Munther Al-Alawi in the 34th minute, before Turki al-Ammar equalized the score with a goal for Saudi Arabia in the 41st minute.
In the 84th minute, Hareb Al-Saadi added the second goal, snatching an important victory for his native Oman.
With this victory, Oman grabbed the promotion card to the next round, taking second place in Group I with a points difference from Iraq.
The Saudi national team bids farewell to the Gulf Cup in its 25th edition of the first round, taking third place with only 3 points.
