China's software industry expanded rapidly in terms of business revenue in the first 11 months of 2022, according to official data.
Data from the Ministry of industry and Information Technology showed that the total revenue amounted to almost 9.47 trillion yuan (about 1.36 trillion U.S. dollars) during this period, an increase of 10.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
Companies in the sector generated more than 1.1 trillion yuan in combined profits - up 6.9 percent year-on-year.
In the first 11 months, revenue from IT services reached 6.15 trillion yuan - an increase of 10.8 percent year-on-year.
