The Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals on the coast of Hadramout, Khaled Bashamikh, said that the ministry has adopted the concept of social responsibility by implementing a number of community and development projects and is continuing to do so.


In the speech of Hadramout University, the Vice President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Babeer, referred to the role of youth in the development and advancement of societies, explaining that among the basic functions of universities is interaction with basic community issues and contributing to its development.


The Executive Director of the Aid Foundation, Dr. Abdullah bin Othman, confirmed in a brief speech that the success of societies is associated with the success of state agencies and the role of civil society organizations to carry out their societal responsibilities, which is a general responsibility for all members of society.


Mr. Tamim Al-Abd Bamousa, Acting Executive Director of the Estidama Foundation, indicated that the conclusion of the social responsibility program is a new beginning to instill values ​​and change the environment, thanking Al-Awn Foundation for Development and the training partner, the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, for their role in the success of the program.


Through video conferencing, the Vice President of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility participated, speaking to the private sector and civil society organizations about the need to enhance social responsibility and to achieve effective partnerships between them.


The event honored the holders of elite memberships for international social responsibility, who are the businessman Sheikh Abdullah bin Doul, the head of the Ambassadors of Happiness Initiative, Mr. Muhammad Bahbara, and the incubator for the deaf and dumb, Ms. Tahani Bamithqal.


The forum continued its work by presenting a number of papers, as the Hadramout TV sector presented a working paper entitled "The Impact of Digital Media on Social Responsibility", and the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Hadramout Valley and Desert presented a paper entitled "Civil Society Institutions and their Role in Activating Social Responsibility".


In addition, the National Women's Committee presented a working paper entitled "Women and their leadership of social responsibility initiatives", as well as the Hadramout satellite channel presented a paper entitled "The impact of the media in bringing about societal change towards social responsibility". On the part of civil society organizations, the Volunteers Foundation presented a paper entitled "Youth and Social Responsibility Forming initiatives and attracting funding.


The forum was attended by a number of general managers, heads, directors, and representatives of civil society institutions, participating companies and establishments, and a number of activists in person and through the Zoom application.
