In continuation of CARE’s field visits and study of its emergency interventions in the Shaqra M/Abyan area in the field of fish, and how coastal women work to be a contributing partner in community service and fishermen, CARE’s coordinator carried out this morning, Thursday, November 10, 2022 headed by Ms. Manar Mohsen, accompanied by: Director General of Shakra Al-Sheikh / Hussein Al-Hazel, and a transitional member of the governorate, brother / Yaslam Saleh, visited the Coastal Women’s Association in the Shaqra area in Abyan governorate. During the visit, the team announced the formation of women’s community committees for the coastal fishing project (fishing field) and in the presence of 40 active community women in the area, where community committees were elected from The women present accepted themselves to those who represent them in the community committees and by the recommendation of all those present to head the committees, where the two professors were chosen:
