Dr. Najeeb Al-Auj, Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Aden, sponsored the celebration of Y Telecom on the occasion of the trial launch of its service with the fourth generation technology as the latest communication and internet technology in Yemen.

For his part, Dr. Rashad Shaye, Aden Governorate Undersecretary, confirmed the interest of the local authority leadership represented by His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of the Governorate Ahmed Hamed Lamlas in launching the services of the Wi Telecom Company, and in improving and developing communications and Internet services in the capital and the rest of the governorates, stressing the keenness of the governorate leadership to overcome all difficulties and encourage Investing in the field of telecommunication services, given its importance in various economic and commercial fields.
The CEO of Wi Company, Engineer Ali Salem Al-Aidarous, gave a welcoming speech, in which he reviewed the company’s efforts in preparing infrastructure services, and equipping the stations with the necessary devices and equipment to launch the trial launch of communications and fourth-generation Internet services, starting in the capital, Aden. Wai to each of the governorates of Hadhramaut, Marib and the rest of the liberated governorates.
Wi Telecom aims to be the leader in providing reliable and stable 4G service in the Yemeni market, and to be the first provider of technology in Yemen.
