The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, met today in Mukalla, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Salem Bahbri, and the Director-General of the Ministry's office on the coast of Hadramout Salem Knaid Al-Obthani.
During the meeting, the governor examined the ministry's plan and its office in Hadhramaut, to hold training courses and workshops to qualify the legal authorities of government institutions, bodies, and departments, and recent graduates from the Faculty of Law at Hadhramout University, on the law of state issues.
During the meeting, it was emphasized the participation of local and external experts in these courses, to provide the participants with knowledge about the law of state cases, to represent the concerned authorities in the cases filed by them or against them before the judicial authorities and before arbitration bodies, to review contracts and agreements, and to resolve emerging disputes covered by the provisions of this law.
The idea of establishing a commercial arbitration center in Hadramout was also discussed to facilitate investment and investor issues and not obstruct investment projects, and to establish a legal library in Hadramout, "paper and electronic", that would be a reference for jurists and researchers in this field.
The governor praised the development and rehabilitation plans of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and its office in Hadhramaut, stressing the support of the local authority for these activities, which are in the interest of developing legal awareness in the governorate.
