At the ceremony, the Governor of Hadramout Mabkhout, Mubarak bin Madi, congratulated the political leadership on behalf of the local authority in the governorate and all the people of Hadramout, represented by His Excellency Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, members of the Council and all the people of the country, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of national independence November 30, 1967 AD, immortal in conscience and conscience Our struggling people.
The governor said that the feasts of the revolution represented a turning point and a great radiance in our glorious history, pointing out that the feasts of the revolution represented a turning point in the path of the national struggle movement, the restoration of freedom and independence, and embodied the highest meanings of the true national will, and the images of close mass cohesion and victory by achieving complete independence on the 30th of November. 1967 AD.
The governor said, "The greatness of peoples emanates from the greatness of the days in which their great achievements are perpetuated. On that day, the national forces scored the greatest victories after the bitter struggle that lasted 4 years, during which the liberation struggle forces fought the strongest and fiercest battles against British colonialism in the occupied south, which forced Great Britain to Departure from Aden and all regions of the south, so that justice can be restored to its people, and our people will achieve glorious independence.
The governor continued, "We will work to unite the ranks and the word and maintain security and stability for the people of Hadramout who yearn for order, law and peace, thanks to the Hadrami elite forces and their brave men and security men, and with the support of our brothers in the leadership of the Arab coalition, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates."
The governor touched on the anniversary of the liberation of Mukalla and the coast of Hadhramaut from terrorist forces, the defeat of al-Qaeda, and the victory of the Hadrami elite with the support of the Arab coalition countries, wishing to crown the victories by getting out of the current conflicts, which were imposed by the Houthi militia with its coup against state institutions in the year 2014 AD.
At the ceremony, a speech was delivered by the office of the Ministry of Culture in the governorate, delivered by the Director General of the office, Maher Awad bin Saleh, and on the fighters of the revolution delivered by the fighter Saleh Omar Al-Madhi. They stressed the importance of celebrating the revolution and independence days, and recalling the struggles of the revolutionaries of the homeland, noting that it represents a gain for the Arab liberation movement and a response to national aspirations.
