Mukalla / informing the governor:
The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, sponsored, today in Mukalla, an agreement to implement the “tenth edition” of the project to educate girls in the health sector in the districts of Cotton, Wadi Al-Ain Houra, and Haridah.
The project, funded by the Selah Foundation for Development, under the supervision of the Wadi Al-Ain Foundation for Social Development, and implemented at the Health Institute in Seiyun, aims to educate 35 girls to obtain a higher diploma, a 3-year system, specializing in technical nursing.
In the past 9 editions, Sila Foundation for Development targeted more than 420 girls in several districts of the governorate, in the health and educational sectors.
Following the signing of the agreement, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, Saleh Aboud Al-Amqi, the governor of Hadhramaut praised the integration between charitable institutions and government agencies, congratulating the interventions of the Selah Foundation and charitable institutions in the health and educational sectors in the governorate’s districts, and the intervention to cover the needs, especially in rural districts in coordination with the health and education offices in the targeted districts.
The agreement was signed by Ali Hassan Bashmakh, Executive Director of the Selah Foundation for Development, Dr. Muhammad Awad Laradi, Director of the Health Institute in Seiyun, and Salem Mubarak Al-Haddad, President of the Wadi Al-Ain Foundation for Social Development.
