Today, Wednesday, Nishtun Port in Al-Mahra Governorate received the first batch of the new Saudi oil derivatives grant, with quantities amounting to 4000 metric tons of diesel.
The oil derivatives grant helps partially reduce government spending levels, double production capacity, and cover the needs of power plants.
It is noteworthy that the total electric power sales from the Public Electricity Corporation increased to 81.7 million US dollars, by 20% compared to previous years, in addition to limiting the depletion of the Central Bank's foreign currency reserves to purchase derivatives to generate electricity from global markets.
