The first football team of Salam Al-Ghurfa Sports Club (runner-up of the fifth edition) retained the lead in Group Six in the preliminary round of the current edition, and was humiliated after the team recorded a broad victory this afternoon, Friday, over its counterpart Qadisiyah Sah, with a big score of seven goals against one, which is the highest score after the people of Hadramout scored Six goals against Al-Shorta in the second round of the tournament, and it continued until the result of Al-Salam today, to become the highest currently.
The Seven of Peace scored by Raed Badawy (two goals), the same by Muhammad Ali Qahman, and a goal by Hani Baantar, Muhammad Barak Idris and Muhammad Obaid Tai`, while Al-Qadisiyah scored his goal from a penalty kick, which was successfully executed by Abdullah Al-Twi.
With this great victory, Al-Salam ended its matches, raising its score to 13 points, and clinching first place in Group Six for the next round, and Al-Barq second, who will play its last match against Port Al-Ahad, regardless of its outcome.
