The annual inflation rate in Singapore rose last month compared to the previous month and to the average expectations of analysts, according to data from the Singapore Bureau of Statistics issued on Thursday.
The Consumer Price Index, which measures the inflation rate, rose last October by 7.4% annually compared to 1.4% last September, while average expectations were 5.4% annually. On a monthly basis, the consumer price index rose by 2.0% last October.
