The Ibn Sina Hospital Authority in Mukalla continues, for the third day, the work of the voluntary medical camp for orthopedic surgery and joint replacement, which is held by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, under the auspices of the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibeh, and the Governor of Hadramout, Mabkhout bin Madi.
The camp, which was inaugurated on Sunday, November 20, by the Governor of Hadhramout Mabkhout, Mubarak bin Madi, and will continue until the 26th of November, is witnessing a great turnout of patients from Hadramout and neighboring governorates.
The camp witnesses full and half knee and hip replacements, bone biopsies, arthroscopic knee reconstructive surgery, manufacturing of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee, endoscopic removal of torn meniscus cartilage, tendon separation and fracture operations, under the supervision of a medical advisory team from the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
