As part of the campaign to support community committees in mitigating conflicts, the trainees of the National Institute held a workshop with community committees in the Directorate of the city of Mukalla and those with specialization related to their work.
Where the workshop aims to develop a plan for activities for the month of January and push for a greater role for community committees and enhance their capabilities.
The trainer, Mohammed Saleh Al Kathiri, gave a quick overview of the community committees, training on how to develop a plan, discussing how to support them, give them a legal character, and show their great community role.
He explained that the community committees have a major role in solving the problems and challenges facing the community, as they are the link between the citizen and the authority.
In the workshop, the participants were distributed
And merging members of community committees with specialists in circles to discuss problems, develop solutions and remedies, and how to create a plan of activities that will be worked on in January, at the beginning of the new year 2023.
